The songs on "Welcome" were recorded
in three different sessions at two different studios over the course of
a couple of years. Most of the songs were recorded at some big expensive
corporate owned studio - FOR FREE! We knew some of the assistant engineers
and one of them "The Bird" would sneak us in during off hours.
We did a couple of "song and dance routines" to make sure that
he didn't get fired and that we didn't land up with a $20,000 recording
bill! As a result it took about a year to finish the tracks.The band member
lineup for this record is Drool on vocals, Mudd on bass, Rusty Talent on
guitars. Drums on the first seven songs are by Ted Robinson, who left the
band in 1993. And drums on the remaining tracks are by deadbeat who left
the band in 1991.
